Apple is continuing its foray into science fiction with the upcoming psychological thriller, Constellation, set to premiere next year. The series features Noomi Rapace (known for her roles in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant) as an astronaut who grapples with the aftermath of a tragedy in space upon returning to Earth. The first images of the show have been released, along with the announcement that it will start streaming on February 21st, with new episodes airing weekly on Wednesdays.

Constellation, created by Peter Harness (known for his work on Doctor Who) and directed by Michelle MacLaren (known for her work on Westworld, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and more), delves into the depths of human psychology and follows one woman’s desperate quest to uncover the truth about the hidden history of space travel and reclaim what she has lost. The series also stars Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, and Barbara Sukowa.
